Turtles have been nesting along the Burlington Bike Path between Hula and the Burlington Surf Club for the past few summers. To help them find a safer nesting spot, the Burlington Parks Department is leading a work day to create new turtle habitats right here on the Hula campus, so baby turtles don’t have to brave the bike path to reach the lake.
We need 15 volunteers total for work on November 14 and if 7 Hula members sign up, we’re already halfway there!
