Today, we’re cheering from the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington’s South End Innovation District as Beta Technologies takes flight on one of its biggest milestones yet. On November 4, 2025 at 9:30 AM Founders Kyle and  Katie Clark rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate an initial public offering (IPO).  Beta’s moment on the NYSE floor represents not just a triumph for the company, but a proud moment for Vermont’s growing community of visionaries and builders.

Approximately 100 members of the Hula community proudly cheered as they viewed a live stream of the bell-ringing ceremony.

Hula takes tremendous pride in playing a small role in Beta's story. Beta landed on campus in 2021, shortly after Hula opened its doors, and instantly infused the community with an energy, enthusiasm, and fearlessness that has set an example for the community. Today's milestone for Beta Technologies reminds us what can happen when possibility meets tenacity. Their journey from Vermont to Wall Street underscores the power of believing in local talent and global ambition.
