Aplomb Circle for Senior Leaders at Hula is launching and now open for registrations.
Strong leaders never stop learning.
Aplomb Circle for Experienced Leaders at Hula is launching and now open for registrations.
Brought to you by Aplomb Consulting, this monthly circle hosted at Hula and supported by Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) offers a safe, structured space for values-driven CEOs, executives and experienced leaders to connect, share challenges, and learn from one another. Through expert facilitation, peer guidance, and collective wisdom, participants will explore confident leadership, change management and building supportive community. The program recognizes that CEOs and senior leaders know that it can be lonely at the top and offers the support, camaraderie and guidance to stay confident and effective. Leaders of all backgrounds and stages/size of business (and nonprofits) are welcome.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
This program is for one year, with monthly meetings with the exception of August (because, well…August). It will begin and end with a full day, but recognizing the demands on experienced executives, the other nine sessions will be in the afternoon. All of the sessions are set for Fridays at Hula, although there may be one or two sessions at a nearby location.

Self-Assessment: Once you are accepted into Aplomb Circle, you will fill out an introspection form to help you envision your goals for yourself and your organization, as well as what you hope to gain from Aplomb Circle. This information will be collected confidentially to help Aplomb Consulting customize the syllabus for your particular cohort.
One-year program: This program is for one year, in which we will meet monthly (taking August off, because, well…August). We will begin and end with a full day, but recognizing the demands on senior executives, the other nine sessions will be in the afternoon. All of the sessions are set for Fridays at Hula (although we may find one or two sessions in a nearby location).
Opening Session: We will begin together in-person at Hula in Burlington to commence this journey with teambuilding, establishing group norms and identity, forming interpersonal connections, setting individual goals.
Closing Session: With my facilitation and support, you will end Aplomb Circle by reflecting on areas in which you challenged yourself, crystallizing and solidifying your accomplishments, and setting goals for the 2026, including helping you identify ways to help you hold yourself accountable, and position yourself for support in the coming year.
Others sessions will be a combination of many different activities, include full and small group discussion. In these nine sessions, you will be guided in analysis of different leadership models, skill building, contemplating real-life challenges, including role-playing, peer advice-giving, and connections with peer leaders and community building. Before each session, you will be assigned 15-to-30 minutes of readings or videos to expand your knowledge and awareness and add depth to our conversations.
Guest speakers will add insight to practical matters and different leadership perspectives. These speakers will be based on interest from members of Aplomb Circle.
Councils: Each participant will be part of a 5-person council, with whom you will bond even further. There will be optional lunches or meetings that you Council may choose to partake in outside of our regular session.
Quality improvement: Members of The Aplomb Circle will be polled for how they feel about the sessions so far. These confidential surveys will be aggregated and themes and quantifiable ratings will be shared with members of The Aplomb Circle, as well as partnering organizations including Hula and VBSR. This added accountability will be used to improve sessions.
LOGISTICS
Cost to participate is $6,500, with preferred pricing of $5,500 for Hula or VBSR Members. You will be invoiced separately in a lump sum payment. Once payment is received your seat will be confirmed for Aplomb Circle.
