That’s why we’re beyond thrilled to celebrate our amazing partnership with The Spot at Hula, the first café to be housed within the Hula co-working space. Over the years, The Spot has not only served as a convenient breakfast and lunch spot for Hula members but has set a tone and vibe that complemented Hula.
From the very beginning, The Spot at Hula has brought something special to our community. Whether you’re starting your day with a breakfast sandwich or grabbing a bite during a midday break, the café offered a friendly space for members to recharge, network, and unwind. And for that we couldn’t be more grateful for their partnership.

We’re thankful for the energy and stories The Spot brought to Hula. People have been interviewed and hired at the tables. It has housed Founder’s lunches and power meetings. It has helped OutToLunch participants meet new people, and it has helped welcome new people into the Hula community. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and inviting décor created an environment that fosters both productivity and relaxation. Whether you were enjoying your favorite smoothie solo or engaging in a lively conversation with colleagues, The Spot provided a strong backdrop.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank The Spot’s team for consistently going above and beyond to make each experience memorable. From curating special menus that surprise and delight, to always ensuring that each dish is as fresh and flavorful as the last, their dedication to quality shines through in everything they do.
As The Spot at Hula shifts its focus to new projects, Curt Duford shared, “We’re consolidating our energies on our other three locations--The Spot restaurant on Shelburne Road, The Spot on the Dock downtown, and the nearby Sweet Spot ice cream stand. I want to invite everyone to those locations and continue to support us.” While we will miss The Spot’s presence at Hula, we are excited to continue supporting their other locations and encourage everyone to check them out for the same fantastic food and vibrant experience.
