Join Session Magazine on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Hula in Burlington, VT for an evening of film and intimate conversation with world renowned photographer, filmmaker and activist Chris Burkhard in partnership with outdoor brand icon Faherty as we launch Burkhard's newest film, "A Northern Life".
Few people venture into the farth north. Its mysteries have drawn people across history, but its hardships have kept the secrets well. Strong Winters. Severe Storms. Guarded by rock and Ice. However, during a brief reprieve every year. A window opens. For these two, it's a place of possibility and potential.
Doors open at 5:00pm with film screening at 5:30pm followed by a slideshow and intimate conversation with Chris Burkhard and the Faherty team about the extraordinary adventure and mission to create, "A Northern Life". There will be time for a Q&A after the slideshow and a special book/print signing with Burkhard himself in The Reef event space at Hula.
Food and drink will be provided along with a complimentary signed print for the first 50 people in the door!
100% of the $5 entry fee donation will benefit The Lake Champlain Committee.
