Community Manager
Kelsi Cross is a community-focused operations leader with more than 15 years of experience across Vermont's nonprofit, healthcare, and social services sectors. As Community Manager at Hula, she leads the team responsible for hospitality, events, and member experience - helping cultivate an environment where entrepreneurs, innovators, and collaborators can connect and thrive in the Burlington region.
Before joining Hula, Kelsi held progressive leadership roles at Howard Center, Champlain Housing Trust, UVM Medical Center, and the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge. Her career has been defined by a people-first approach to operations, team leadership, and community building.
Kelsi is deeply committed to service beyond the workplace. She is a former AmeriCorps member who served at the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf, a longtime volunteer and supporter of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, and has held board leadership roles with the Vermont State College Board of Trustees, the Vermont Foundation for Children & Families, and the Westford Public Library Board of Trustees.
Kelsi is also a former competitive dragon boat athlete with Dragonheart Vermont - where she met her husband - and still loves being on the water, out on a trail, riding her bike, and, most commonly, in a cozy chair with her nose in a book.
