Catherine has worked in the music and entertainment industry for over 14 years. She spent the majority of her career working in marketing and publicity at Atlantic Records in NYC and also as the Senior Director of Global Marketing at Capitol Records in Los Angeles. Catherine recently accepted a job as Executive Director of Business Development at a celebrity and entertainment marketing and brand agency called, Starpower. She is responsible for leading efforts to forge new brand, entertainment, and celebrity business with a focus on the wellness and lifestyle space. The company is based out of NYC, LA and London but her role will be remote (working from Burlington) with some travel here and there! Catherine grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey and then attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA majoring in Art History and Film and Media. She got her start in entertainment in 2009 working at Viacom for MTV and Nickelodeon. 

Catherine is from a long lineage of Burlington, Vermonters and during the pandemic moved here with her fiancé Erik and now calls it home! Her grandfather founded Pomerleau Real Estate in the 1950s and helped develop a lot of Burlington and the greater Vermont area. Catherine’s family runs the Pomerleau Family Foundation which does a lot of philanthropic work with the local community and Catherine has enjoyed living here full time and helping with those initiatives. In her free time she mountain/gravel bikes, draws, fails at gardening, and runs with her disobedient 2-year-old Bernedoodle named Opie.
